MONTPELIER — The Vermont Principals Association has announced the seedings and pairings for the 2020 girls basketball tournament, which gets underway with 13 playdown round games on Tuesday night.

In Division One unbeaten CVU is the top seed, followed by number two Essex, number three Mt. Mansfield and number four St.Johnsbury. The top four seeds and fifth seed Rutland are all seeded directly into the quarterfinals.

In Division Two unbeaten Fair Haven gets the top seed, followed by number two North Country, number three Harwood and number four Enosburg.

Lake Region is the top seed in Division Three, followed by number two Windsor, number three Thetford and number four People’s Academy.

The top seed in Division Four goes to West Rutland, followed by number two Proctor, number three Blue Mountain and number four Mid-Vermont Christian.
