T-slot Sliders
- Wear strip covers slide into a T-slot to provide a slippery, abrasion-resistant surface. Dust covers conceal wires and keep dust out of the T-slot. Cut covers to size with scissors and press them into a T-slot. Flip the black dust covers over and they have a groove for holding a panel inside the T-slot. Antislip covers add traction to a rail.

Why A Slotted Insert? The early use of slotted inserts was in response to a need to move away froma myriad of complex and costly connection schemes and forward to an engineered prefabricated adjustable connection system providing the measurably consistent performance characteristics so necessary for credibility. The miter T-bar slides into the miter track or miter slot in your table saw. The T-bar can be used to make sliding jigs and other fixtures throughout the shop. Add a lock down knob by drilling and tapping the T-bar, there is no end to the possibilities. Use #7785 (1-1/4' Straight bit) to make the groove for the Miter T-Track.
Simple sliding mechanisms that sit inside the aluminium profile groove. T-slot Sliders 5, 6 and 8 are able to rotate as well as slide along the groove, catering to lightweight applications where you need to allow for alignment errors.
The T-slot Slider 8 80×40 is a strong option with low wear and low friction, creating a gentle transfer from one place to another. It can operate in difficult conditions with dust and humidity.

Slide Guide Strip
Mounted directly in the profile groove to create simple slide mechanisms. Alternatively, it can be screw-connected to aluminium profiles or to moving components.
The design is slightly offset to prevent the moving components from colliding with the fixed frame.
